ZDF TV series “The Prince and the girl”
The Castle and its impressive surroundings were the focus for the TV series “The Prince and the Girl,” shown on ZDF (German national television) in 2003 and 2005, featuring Oscar winner Maximilian Schell. An average of 4.81 Million TV spectators watched the various episodes. The third part of the successful series is due to be filmed in Glücksburg in the autumn of 2006.

Many helping hands are also busy in the park and the first results are already visible. A “Hartz IV” project is being developed and was introduced to the media on 27 June by the Glücksburg Castle Foundation.
