Orangery |
The gardens of the Castle, which were laid out in 1733 in the French style, were converted later into English style gardens. The former lines of sight were maintained.
The one-story, classical Orangery was built in 1827 and can be rented for art exhibitions, concerts or any other events.

Rose Garden |
Right next to the park, where visitors can take long strolls with views onto the lake, one can find a rose garden. It was designed in 1990/91 on the grounds of the former castle garden by the landscape gardener Günther Schulze from Hamburg. The roses were planted in cooperation with the well-known rose collector, Ingwer J. Jensen. They are mainly historical, British wild roses and creeper roses.
The Rose Café offers home made cakes, ice-cream and small snacks to those in need of a break. All the roses and clematis can be ordered.
